About the Project
Equal and rightful education to everyone has always been the propriety. There is always concern for the students who belong to the remote villages and come from the school with less or no infrastructure at all. To provide the remote students’ access to the high end education, with the multimedia, computers, cutting edge technology and competitive knowledge, MPEP aims to provide the complete package for the teaching and learning process in the School, more preferred for the remote education using the amazing technology of Microsoft called MultiPoint.
Scope
This application has a very practical implication in the educational field especially in the country like us where the literacy rate is way below the average. Promoting the remote education, this application can help the school do their tasks using the MultiPoint in the more standard and technical way with the technology that also teaches to work in team. MPEP can be best suited for the schools with minimum resources and fits well as it is easy to learn and can become the complete education solution for the school.
Features ü The application is mainly focused for the teachers in the boardroom during the brainstorming of the ideas and for the teachers teaching in the class.
· Teachers can give the ideas for the discussion and using then using the feature of MultiPoint they can vote for the best idea.
· This voting system can help generate the good ideas and foster and vote it with the power of MultiPoint.
ü The main feature of the application is seen during the class. The features that can help teachers impart education are:
· The “GAMES SECTION” is the section where the teachers can make the students play the MultiPoint games. Currently, the application provides the Tic-Tac-Toe game.
· “EDUCATIONSL STUFFS “section contains the education materials that the teachers can teach in the class.
· After teaching the course content, the teacher can make a test in the “MAKE A TEST” section. Here he can set the question and four options of the questions with the single correct answer for the students to take.
· Now it’s time to take the test. “TAKE A TEST” section is MultiPoint enables section in which the animated clouds hover in the sky with the questions falling down. With the four options provided by the teacher, the students can chose the right answer and increase the score. Every mouse can click only for once, no matter the answer is right or wrong.
Limitations
Though the application provides the features that can be enough for the school, it lacks all the contents. There are not enough games to entertain the students and not enough educational stuff, course contents and animations and videos that can help students learn well.
Further Enhancement ü If this project finds the good application in the real world then I find there are numbers of flaws and incompetence that it has to overcome.
ü First, the educational stuffs should be increased according the curriculums
ü The application should be handy enough for the teachers and students that they can use it efficiently, or maybe they can learn and take test online.
ü The test should be more enhanced and should be handy for all the teachers of every subjects. For example, teacher may be able to print the result after the test and as such.
ü The user interface may be enhanced to give a professional look
