About the Project

The project is about teaching proper fingering in keyboard and alphabets to kinder garden kids with the aid of computer or a English lesson package for nursery!! It basically focuses to those children where computer resource is minimum and especially to those growing stars who are very new to the school say nursery grade or any other Play group / Kinder Garden.

 Scope

It uses C# language in Multipoint Platform for programming whereas uses Microsoft Access for Database. Designing part is based on Expression Blend2 and Expression Design.

 

Features

ü  It has Play Video Option that will let you play a video about fingering in keyboard properly.

ü  It’s learn ABC option will help kids to ease with their English lesson such as A for Apple, B for Ball etc.

ü  It’s learn Color option will help kids to recognize basic 12 colors.

ü  It’s Dictionary will help kids to find meanings as well.

ü  It’s Rainbow Game will entertain kids with 7 leveled letter game where the participants can form rainbow instead of scoring.

 

Limitations

ü  Insertion of new words and meaning is restricted since multipoint keyboard is not programmed in my project.

ü  Only 7 participants can participate in Rainbow Game.

ü  Similar to Rainbow Game, Dictionary is also limited to only few users.

ü  Learn ABC and color can have as many participants as possible.

 

Further Enhancement

Since it is designed for kinder garden grades for English subject, Taking simple Test or Exam can be further enhanced.
