MultiPoint is a technology that allows multiple mice to access one PC. The main objective of this technology is to provide multiple cursors for the users. As window support multiple mice but doesn’t support multiple cursors, we need to develop such platform which can support multiple cursors. This platform can be developed using Microsoft MultiPoint SDK. So MultiPoint SDK enables developers to create interactive educational applications, allowing multiple students to use their own mouse on a single PC display. | Microsoft seeks to broaden the benefits and usage scenarios provided by the Microsoft MultiPoint platform by organizing a software competition amongst the students of Nepal to create real-world solutions best suited for Nepal. Along with this Microsoft encourage students to apply their imagination, passion and creativity to technology innovation that can be best suited for developing country to develop the ICT in education and implement the best solution to the rural areas by organizing such competition.
| To build awareness of Multipoint technology to students, Microsoft MDP Nepal organize various orientation programs conducted on colleges. For this a MultiPoint team from Microsoft MDP Nepal visited various colleges and talked about Microsoft initiatives towards students and MultiPoint Challenge along with MultiPoint Software Demos. Moreover students who participate in MultiPoint challenge from various colleges were trained with various software development platforms and MultiPoint technology to build solution on MultiPoint. | With lots of excitement in MultiPoint Challenge conducted in Nepal, various solutions regarding real problems were developed. These solutions can be used for developing ICT in education. |
