InstallFest at Kathford Engineering College

Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) of Kathford Engineering College, Hiron Shah and Archana Maharjan organized “InstallFest” at the college itself. The purpose of the event was to ensure the awareness of the students at the college about various initiatives that Microsoft MDP Nepal is taking into the college such as MSDN-AA, whereby every student is eligible for FREE licensed software from Microsoft; s2bprogram.com/Nepal whereby he/she can apply for either internships, or jobs.
At this event, Udhyan Timilsina, Technical Specialist of Microsoft MDP Nepal presented an overview of the next generation operating system, Windows 7 and Allen Bailochan Tuladhar, Country Manager of Microsoft MDP Nepal gave presentation on various activities and initiatives of Microsoft in Nepal.
Along with the faculty members there were about 100 students who had participated at this Fest.MSPs from other colleges were also present to support the MSP from this college to help organize this event.
