Unlimit and Moby Partner to Simplify Access to Sustainable Transportation Options for Customers Worldwide

The strategic partnership will focus on strengthening Moby’s payment portfolio across a range of payment methods, from traditional credit card payments to alternative payment methods, greatly simplifying the booking process, raising customer engagement, and streamlining transactions. It will also allow the company to better meet the mobile-first generation’s payment preferences by leveraging Google Pay and Apple Pay in the upcoming months for an easier checkout experience.

This partnership comes at a time when passengers are choosing more sustainable options in both payments and travel. According to ABTA’s Holiday Habits Report 2023-24, 41% of people will choose a travel company with a better sustainability record over another. With the launch of Moby Fantasy in 2023, and Moby Legacy this year, the company has underlined its focus on sustainability and reducing its environmental impact. Both vessels will be able to reduce CO2 emissions by 40% compared to similar other ferries on the same route.
